Something is causing it to hang and it could be another piece of software running or waiting to be used. Reason being, I shut everything down or off, as much as I can, when using PD8 and try to have minimal processes running before I capture and edit. One other thought I had, are there a lot of icons by your date and time on the task bar? If the program hangs, well we don't know the version you are using. Right click desktop icon, select properties, select compatibility,check mark Run this program as administrator, click apply, click okay. I use Win7, try setting the program to run as Administrator.(I had too! Would hang but not all the time) There is an update for you video and audio drivers on the manufactures website, wasn't hard to s all in one file.Īnti-Virus software running in the background?
